The traditional way to replace a broken or damaged sewer pipe is to dig it up which, depending on any present obstacles, for example - buildings, landscaping, driveways and pavement etc. can be a very time consuming and expensive endeavor. With trenchless sewer pipe repair your existing pipe is not removed, instead a new sleeve is inserted, inflated and then cured in place to create a new pipe within the old pipe.
